Daily Life: Goodbye Office 2.0

Today is one of the last days in our good old office.
From next week onwards, we'll be working in our brad new office located (nearly) in the heart of Zurich. More next week! :-)

New York, New York

In case you're at the Web 2.0 Expo New York, chances are quite high of bumping into Dominik. Dominik is currently in the US, having held a presentation at the NASA (yes, no joke) last week, now attending the Web 2.0 Expo conference and presenting at Columbia University (an event organized by Sandbox) next Friday.

100 Million

Wow - it's nearly unbelievable - over the weekend we've reached 100 million files! This number clearly shows us that Wuala is starting to be the central hub for all sorts of files. Thanks a lot for your support and your confidence!

Swiss ICT Award 2009: People Newcomer Award goes to Dominik!

Yesterday part of the team made their way to Lucerne to attend the prize ceremony of the Swiss ICT Award 2009. You might remember that we were nominated in the category "Newcomer" together with Amazee, Poken and others.

Suspense went up when the winners were announced - congrats and start-up love to our friends at Poken (Winner of the Newcomer Award) and Amazee (Winner of the Public Award) - we're really happy for you and we mean it! :-)

But we didn't come back with empty hands - we're really proud that Dominik won the People Newcomer Award! Though he wasn't able to pick up the award himself (he's currently in the US), he sent over a "Hello" via Skype.
