Thanks for the good news.
ReplyDeleteOnly I hope this would extend to other countries too.
I for my part, highly distrust Pay Pal, this is the reason, I did not buy some extra - pro account for wuala.
Thanks for your feedback. We are looking into further paying options.
ReplyDeleteGreat present idea - only it's not so good it runs out after one year. If I am buying memory for myself I don't mind renewing it after a year, but if i'm buying it for someone else they might not be able to afford to renew and I wouldn't mind paying extra to get a longer time period. Also - could you put an option to buy this online and get it posted out? That way anyone in any country could give it as a gift. It's good to have something physical you can wrap up :o)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your feedback. The reason why it expires after one year is because it is a service, kind of the same if you give a magazine subscription or similar. But of course, I understand what you mean. We will think about selling the cards online.
ReplyDeleteSearching Interdiscount (Fr) for Wuala finds nothing so I guess that cards must be activated and collected in store, not shipped to the customer.
ReplyDeleteMight the cards be available in the UK before Christmas 2010?
The cards can only be bought in the stores in Switzerland or shipped to Switzerland (see www.heinigerag.ch). The cards will not be available in the UK before Christmas 2010.
ReplyDeleteI have just discovered Wuala and am in the process of studying how it works. The idea of aiding download speeds by distributing the data in bit torrents and offering the customer an opportunity for cooperation with mutual benefits is the kind of thinking that will win you friends.
ReplyDeleteCoupons are smart thinking and I will certainly prefer to pay for the service using them. I avoid credit card transactions and the middlemen like Pay-pal whenever I can because they set up their system in such a manner that it becomes very difficult to audit and control spending. When you have prepaid and the company you are a customer with are not in a position to dip into your account at will because you paid by coupon, which is a form of cash, you eliminate the risk of spending irate days on the phone trying to sort out a billing problem. Unfortunately a majority of companies abuse the power electronic payment systems give them over customers and the energy expenditure required for restitution makes credit-card purchases something to avoid whenever you can.
Keep up the good work

ReplyDeleteHow about Android support :)
ReplyDeleteIs that planned?
Yes, Android is planned. We are currently working quite hard on it and it's expected to be released this spring.
