It is our mission to help. For us, customer support is essential and we do our best to help you out as quickly as possible. We have added several resources to make it more convenient for you to find answers to your questions, updates about our service or a guide on how to use a specific feature.

FAQs
Our FAQs cover the basic questions. As soon as we realize that an important question is missing, we will add it immediately.

Tutorial
Our screencast tutorial shows you how to use specific features of Wuala. It is split up into different categories, guiding you from your first steps to gaining more storage.

Forum
In our forum you can post questions and ideas and exchange with other users.
It is moderated by our genius Wuala Masterminds and us. As long as you are only searching for an answer, you do not have to register.

Bugtracker
Our bugtracker is something for our tech-savy users. Here you can post bugs and feature requests. You'll get straight feedback from our developers, either wanting more details for your feature request or asking you for an error message.

Status Blog
On our status blog we post service updates. Here we will inform you about a scheduled maintenance or if Wuala has temporary hiccups.

Backup Overview

All our PRO users, regardless if they bought or trade storage, profit from backing up their files automatically. As one of the newest features, we've added a backup overview to show the status of a backup.


One can easily toggle this window by going to: View > Show Backup Overview (Win/Linux) or Window > Show Backup Overview (Mac). The overview will show you the details about your backup folders: the name of the backup folder, the path to your local folder, the size of the folder, date of last completion and the current status. The current status is split into five different categories:
  • In progress: The backup is currently in progress
  • Succeeded: The backup has been successfully completed
  • Not yet started: The backup is scheduled, but has not yet started
  • Warning: Wuala was not able to backup all files. See the log for details
  • Error: The backup was not successful. Nothing has been backed up
By clicking on a folder, you will see additional information, such as the last execution date and the next execution date.

With this overview we wanted to give you the opportunity to easily check the status of your backups. You can now always be certain that your files are safe.

Just joined the team

Hi all,

My name is Andrei and I joined the Wuala team on June 1st.

Before joining, I worked for several years at Esmertec (now Myriad Group) where I developed the host Java bytecode optimizing compiler. Then, it followed a short period, of just a few months, in a consulting company (BS Group AG), where I wrote a couple of iPhone financial apps.

Now it feels great to be back in a hardore engineering environment :-)
