yes, this is an official release from Wuala. Of course you can use Wuala without MacFuse. Please deactivate the filesystem integration in the setting window "General" to do so.
I'm trying to write to my NTFS-partitioned external hard drive using the guide mentioned above. But,this didn't work. I'm also not sure, if this is the right forum for mounting nTFS-partitioned volumnes in OS X Lion. I'm unable to write to my nTFS-partitioned external hard disk..
You're right, this isn't really the right forum for NTFS Stuff. Why don't you try this http://macntfs-3g.blogspot.com/ or this http://www.tuxera.com/products/tuxera-ntfs-for-mac/.
Hi, Guys! I enjoy your service. I keep my photoshop mock-ups on it, sometimes photoshop can not save an open file, and sometimes it just crashes. It would be great if you optimize a client. All the best!
first thanks for making a new MacFUSE version available, which integrates Wuala in the filesystem and works like a charm.
However I noticed that once the integration is activated, the kernel log gets flooded by hundreds of entries such as shown below. As soon as I stop the integration and restart Wuala, the logging stops.
Same guy from August 13 here again. Tp correct my finding: Using OSXFUSE-2.3.4 solves the problem with the kernel logging. OSXFUSE does no longer flood the kernel log and the integration of Wuala in the filesystem works perfectly.
I have installed MacFuse Wuala on my MacBook running Lion. I see it as a dial image, but when I attach the USB NTFS formatted external drive it will read it only. I can not write to it.
Is there something I should do in addition to installing MacFuse Wuala?
Hello,
ReplyDeleteIs this an official release of wuala ? Is it possible to use Wuala without MacFuse (only for syncing files) ?
Thanks

ReplyDeleteHi wisekris,
ReplyDeleteThe MacFuse stated above is our for our own release, however, you may use it. Alternative: Wait for OSXFUSE:

Wuala works great but it would be really great to get a native non-Java client that uses less memory and can sit tucked away in the menu bar.
ReplyDeleteHi Chris,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your feedback, I'll pass it on.

Any chance to turn of the logging since it keeps my hdd/system busy and fills the logfiles quickly?
Thanks for any response in advance,
Martin (otherwise a very grateful (thus paying) customer)
same here, using macfuse with truecrypt, kernel log is flooded, console if open, consumes 30% CPU
ReplyDeleteEven after installing it I can't access my shared folder from NTFS partitions from network. It was working just fine in SL
ReplyDeleteOk, it's brilliant solve your Lion Macfuse problems in a few clicks of the mouse.
ReplyDeleteHello.
ReplyDeleteJust installed TrueCrypt 7.1 and now can't copy files from Wuala to finder... :(
Tryed to uninstall it but still the same. Please help.
